Stewed chicken in creamy sauce

Stewed chicken in creamy sauce
Serve this chicken with a side dish of cereals or pasta. The creamy sauce in which the meat was stewed will not only impregnate it with its flavors and aromas, but will also become an excellent gravy, thanks to which the pasta or cereals will definitely not turn out dry. If you want to add piquancy to the dish, season the sauce with spices. For example, add nutmeg or herbs.

GETTING READY
-
Wash the meat, and dry it with paper towels. Peel the onion, and rinse the greens.
STEP 1
-
Cut the chicken into pieces. Sprinkle with salt and pepper on all sides, rub them into the meat with your hands, and leave in a bowl for half an hour.
STEP 2
-
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Cut the garlic cloves into 2-3 pieces and fry them so that they give the oil their aroma. Then remove the garlic from the pan and discard.
STEP 3
-
Place the chicken in the pan, sprinkle with paprika and fry over high heat for 5 minutes until the meat is browned.
STEP 4
-
Reduce heat to low. Pour in water. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the fillet pieces for 25 minutes.
STEP 5
-
Grate the cheese and chop the herbs. Pour the cream over them and stir. Add the cheese and cream mixture to the pan.
STEP 6
-
Heat, stirring, for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese has melted. The sauce should thicken and coat the chicken.
